The Municipality of Gwanda is the local authority that governs the town of Gwanda in Zimbabwe's Matabeleland South Province. Gwanda is located 126 kilometers south east of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second largest city, along the highway from Bulawayo to the border town of Beitbridge.
