2024 Masterplan Exhibition: Stakeholder review
The Municipality of Gwanda seeks to address its spatial planning obligation by reviewing its Operative Master Plan that was approved in 1997. The plan was expected to be reviewed towards the lapse of 15 years so as to align it with the everchanging socio-economic environment. Like any other urban settlement in the world, MOG has experienced significant changes in all aspects, hence the need to have an effective development management tool for its urban space. This review process is clearly stated in Section IV of the Regional Town and Country Planning Act, Chapter 29:12.
